    Kali-Rae Elizabeth Rash, age 16, of Hickory, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Ochsner ‘s Hospital in New Orleans, LA. Funeral  services will be 1 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2011 at Newton County Funeral Home South Chapel in Newton with Rev. Ken Tew of New Orleans officiating. Internment will follow in Hickory Cemetery. Newton County Funeral Home South, 100 Old Highway 15 Loop,  Newton, MS is in charge of arrangements.

    Kali-Rae loved animals of every kind , enjoyed singing, & loved spending time with her  family & friends. Her favorite activities were being outdoors,riding  4 wheelers, bonfires, &  fishing.

    “As in life, Kali-Rae Rash continues to give to others by becoming an organ and tissue donor.”

    She was survived by her Mother,Sissy Brown Rash & husband Jimmy Pierce of Hickory, MS; Father: Ricky Rash & wife Mary of Union, MS Grandparents:Charlotte Stamper & husband Don of Hickory, MS 7 Brothers: Shawn Halford & wife Shelly of Brandon, Richard Rash of Union, Derrick Rash of Union, Micah Smith of Hickory, Brian Pierce of Hickory, Kullen Nelson of Forest, & Jake Morgan of Decatur 4 Sisters: Sha Parker & husband Greg of Little Rock,  Skylar Pierce of Hickory, Kelsie Mann of Decatur, &  Karlie Morgan of Decatur

Niece; Rali Halford & numerous other nieces & nephews

    She was preceded in death by her Grandfather, Jerry Quates

    Pallbearers: Chris Ezell , Chris Comans,  Aaron Clark,  Shawn Halford,  Andy Clark  & Blake Bailey

    In Lieu of flowers, the family request memorials may be made to Kali-Rae Rash Fund at Newton County Bank

    Visitation will be held from 11Am til 1 PM Mondayprior to service  at Newton County  South.
