Billy Carroll Ethridge

    Services for Billy Carroll Ethridge will be held Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home chapel, with Reverend Wayne Smith officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

    Mr. Ethridge, 85, of Meridian, died Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Zero House.

    He was born February 14, 1926.   Mr. Ethridge was a carpenter.   He served in the Navy on the U.S.S. Anthedon during WWII.

    Survivors include his sons, Randy Ethridge and his wife Tommie, Greg Ethridge and his wife Freida; daughter, Sherry Wolfe; grandsons, Chris Ethridge and his wife Christie, Wade Ethridge and his wife Beth, Adam Ethridge and his wife Kim, SGT Kevin Wolfe and Nathan Wolfe; granddaughters, Cassie Lee, Kelli Lungrin and her husband Charles, Jennifer Breckenridge and her husband Lindsey, and Laura Ethridge all of Meridian; great-grandsons, Ben Ethridge, Taylor Lee, Matt Ethridge; step-great-grandchildren, Tristan, Ally, Cody, Tyler, Cheyenne and Paden all of Meridian; sister, Myrtle Louise Story and her husband Tommy of Paducah, Kentucky; longtime companion, Beulah   Broadway of Meridian.

    He was preceded in death by his mother, Marguerite Wyatt and his step-father, Paw Paw Bill Wyatt.

     Pallbearers will be SGT Kevin Wolfe, Nathan Wolfe, Chris Ethridge, Wade Ethridge, Adam Ethridge and Tommy Story.
