Myrtie Cranford Scott

    BUTLER, Ala. – Services for Myrtie Cranford Scott will be held today  at 2 p.m.. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Ralph Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

    Ms. Scott, 100, of Butler, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, in Northport.

    Survivors include her son, Victor L. Scott Jr. (Ginger) of Northport; daughter, Janice Johnson of Butler; four grandchildren, Louis Johnson, Sandy Newton, Brynna Scott and Marla Scott; five great-grandchildren, Scott Johnson, Samantha Roberts, Courtney Johnson, Jena Newton and Blake Newton; and six great-great-grandchildren.

    Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
