Royal Cinemas and United Artists Theatres has opened two RealD 3-D screens.

The first features now playing are “Megamind” and “Tangled,” which opened last Wednesday.

“I am very pleased that we will be able to provide the ultimate state of the art movie presentations in eye popping and very realistic 3-D in time for the holiday season, when much of the industry’s very best films will be presented,” said Monte Royal, owner of Royal Cinemas.

“I have had thousands of inquires about 3-D and public reaction to the news that digital presentations as well as 3-D is overwhelming,” Royal said. “Digital pictures, coupled with our spectacular digital sound provided by Peavey Electronics, will give audiences the most realistic presentations that can be found on the globe.”
