Riley Marshall Ward Sr.

    Graveside services for Riley Marshall Ward Sr. will be held today at 10 a.m. at Graham Cemetery with the Revs. Roy Dabbs and Danny Davis officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

    Mr. Ward, 85, of Meridian, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a long time employee of Atlas Roofing and was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy.

    Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Louise Moulds Ward of Meridian; three sons, Dewey Lyles and Riley M. Ward Jr. and his wife, Edna, all of Meridian, and Robert L. Ward and his wife, Marie of Memphis, Tenn.; four daughters, Carol Lyles Brewer and her husband, Charles, of Walls, Gloria Lyles of Memphis, Virginia Ward Morgan of Pelham, Ala., and Linda Ward Paredes and her husband, Gary, of Naples, Fla.; 20 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Arow Bowden and Dorothy Fain and her husband, Buddy; and one brother, Burnell Ward.

    Pallbearers will be Tony Ward, Cody Nichols, Charles Brewer, Gary Paredes, Harold Reynolds and Richard Moulds.
