Mr. and Mrs. William Thomas Carpenter III (Mrs. Carpenter is the former Jane Catherine Holland)

    Jane Catherine “Katie” Holland of Brandon and William Thomas Carpenter III of Meridian were married Saturday, July 31, 2010, at the home of the grandparents of the groom with the Rev. Richie Davis officiating.

    Parents of the couple are George F. Holland and Janie Holland of Mobile, Ala. and William T. “Bill” Carpenter Jr. and Cathy Carpenter of Meridian.

    Grandparents of the bride are the late John and Irene Holland and the late Mack and Catherine Richards.

    Grandparents of the bridegroom are H.L. “Pete” Denton and Helen Denton and the late W.T. “Sonny” Carpenter and the late Mary Nell Carpenter.

    The bride was given in marriage by her father.

    Camille Wall and Meredith McCollum were flower girls.

    Brodie and Trevor Wall and Cody McCollum were ring bearers.

    A reception was held at the home of Ray and Rhonda Denton, following the ceremony.

    After a honeymoon in the Bahamas, the couple resides in Meridian.
