Julia A. McCann Smith

    Services for Julia A. McCann Smith will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. Dennis Coats and Greg Clemts officiating. Burial will follow in Suqualena Cemetery.

    Mrs. Smith, 87, died on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, at Lakeside Living Center in Quitman.

    Survivors include her sister, Nannie M. Bowden of Meridian; 11 nieces and nephews, Barney McCann, Melanie McCann, Beverly Rhodes, Dr. Kenneth Rhodes, Lloyd Bowden, Judy Bowden Temple, Bennie Eggler, Wanda Griffis, Becky Clemts, Elizabeth M. Stanley, and Robert E. McCann II; and a sister-in-law, Harriet L. McCann.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Smith; parents, Jesse A. McCann and Rebecca W. McCann; sisters, Bessie Everett, Mary Lou Rhodes, Lizzie Eggler and Ruby McCann; and brothers, Jesse Morris McCann, Floyd McCann, Leroy McCann, Willis McCann, Andrew McCann, Lloyd McCann and Robert Earl McCann.

    Visitation will be held Saturday, from noon-1 p.m., at the funeral home.
