Seventeen-year-old Logan Knight keeps pretty busy playing football for Lamar School but has plenty of other activities he is involved in.

    “I enjoy watching college and pro football,” he said. “I also love hunting and fishing. I think the outdoors is a great way to just escape.”

    When Knight isn’t playing football or active outdoors he can be found spending time with family.

    “My dad is a hard working Godly man and tries to instill this in me,” Knight said.

    “My mom is loving and caring, and my sister is always there to listen to anything.”

    Another of Knight’s interests: his love for God — a trait that shows on and off campus. Every Thursday Knight can be found attending Lamar’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

    “My relationship with Jesus Christ is very important to me because without Him dying on the cross to save me from my sins and raising from the dead I would have no hope or someone to go to for guidance,” he said.

    “He is always there.”

    Knight says when he graduates high school he plans to attend Ole Miss. But said he is undecided at the moment about what he will major in.
