    Graveside services for Martha Elam will be held Thursday at 2 p.m., at Goodwater Baptist Church Cemetery, Meehan, with Rev. Jamie Leach officiating. Newton County Funeral Home South is in charge of arrangements.

    Ms. Elam, 80, of Newton, died Monday, Sept. 13, 2010 at Regency Hospital in Jackson.

    Visitation will be today from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Newton County Funeral Home South.
