Over the past several months, Southern Pine Electric Power Association (Newton Office) has worked with Mississippi Veterans Affairs Board Staff, Mississippi State University and several private land owners to secure easements and plan overhead power line and pole relocations and redistribution. Southern Pine removed and relocated all overhead power services from Cemetery property, to include all associated right of way work. All work was done at zero cost to the Veterans Affairs Board or the State of Mississippi. The work was done as a service to and in support of Mississippi’s Veterans. A plaque was presented to Don Jordan, general manager of SPEPA. Those pictured (left to right) are: Don Jordan, general manager, Southern Pine Electric Power Association, Richard Thoms, SPEPA board member, Newton County, Chad Lewis, assistant district manager (SPEPA Newton Office), M.
