 – Services for Bobby Kindred Thomas were held Monday, Sept. 6, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest with Revs. Paul Smith and Bubba Sumrall officiating. Burial was in the Pine Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery with Ott and Lee Funeral Home, Forest, in charge of the arrangements.

    Mr. Thomas, 57, of Pearl, died Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, at the MS University Medical Center in Jackson.  He was the son of Bobby Thomas and Elizabeth Crawford. Mr. Thomas worked as a Superintendent for the city of Pearl in the Street Department for many years. He was of the Baptist faith. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Thomas loved his family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

    He is survived by his wife, Angie Thomas of Pearl; son, Kenny Thomas of Pearl; daughter, Gracie Thomas of Kenner, La.; sister, Fawn Freis of Pelhan City, Ala.; brothers, Ronnie Thomas of Lawrence, Randy Thomas of Lenoir City, Tenn., Jerry Thomas of Forest, and George Crawford of Brandon; three grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
