Miss Long, Mr. Scarbrough

    Brian and Carrie Whitfield of Algonac, Mich. announce the engagement of their daughter, Marilyn Long, to Justin Scarbrough, son of Jeff and Lisa Scarbrough of Meridian.

    The wedding will be Saturday, August 28, 2010, at 4 p.m. at Savannah Woods Plantation in Collierville, Tenn.

    Miss Long is the granddaughter of Mrs. Barbara Janke and Mrs. and Mrs. James Anderson, all of Chesterfield Township, Mich.

    The bride-elect is a graduate of Algonac High School.

    Miss Long is employed Mississippi Air National Guard- 255th ACS.

    Mr. Scarbrough is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Reid of Collinsville, Mrs. Wevon Scarbrough and the late Mr. Jack Scarbrough of Meridian and Mrs. Josephine Smith and the late Mr. Ralph Smith of Meridian.

    The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School.

    Mr. Scarbrough is employed by Mississippi Air National Guard- 255th ACS.

    A reception will be held at Savannah Woods Plantation..
