    Memorial services for Daniel C. Stevison Jr. will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Whitener officiating.

    Mr. Stevison, 52, of Gulfport, died Sunday, July 25, 2010, at U.S.A. Medical Center in Mobile, Ala. He attended New Life Church in Gulfport, Meridian High School in 1976, attended Ole Miss and is a graduate of the Mississippi State branch of Meridian. He was a food service manager in Stevenville, Texas at a junior college before he became ill.

    Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann Stevison; daughter, Amber Danielle Stevison; and stepdaughters, Tanya Diane Riley and Stephanie Kay Riley, all of Gulfport; grandchildren, Destiny, Christian and Christina; sisters, Fay Barousse, Judy West, Karilyn Baker and Marilyn Contes; brother, Michael Stevison; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special niece, Amy Jones of Enterprise.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Robbie Lee and Daniel Charles Stevison Sr.; and his sister, Ann Stevison.

    The family requests memorials be made to Special Olympics in lieu of flowers.
