    Sara Abigail Hawkins of Meridian and Robert Price Ledbetter of Memphis, Tenn. were married on Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Northpark Church in Meridian, with the Rev. Earl T. Wheatley Jr. officiating.

    Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Kendall Hawkins of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Ledbetter of Coldwater.

    Grandparents of the bride are the late Mr. and Mrs. Odell McLemore and the late Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Hawkins.

    Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ledbetter of Tiptonville, Tenn., and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Price of Coldwater.

    Music for the ceremony was provided by Linda T. Arledge, pianist; Will Roland and Lee Williams, guitarists; and Abby Dennis, Jordan Mathis, Megan Sheets and Mandy Smith, vocalists.

    The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. She wore a strapless white organza gown with a modified sweetheart neckline. The fitted bodice was ruched asymmetrically and featured an elongated waistline with embellished detail accents. Multiple tiers of descending organza ruffles flowed asymmetrically from the elongated waistline, highlighted by an organza flower. For her headpiece she wore a shoulder-length veil.

    The bride carried a bouquet of orchids wrapped with a handkerchief belonging to her late maternal grandmother.

    Matron of honor was Jessica Hawkins Wood of Jackson, sister of the bride.

    Other attendants were Sara Elizabeth Henderson of Dallas, Texas, Cristina Ashley Covington of Meridian, Kaylis Claire Byrnes of Little Rock, Ark., Jessica Litton McGee of Brandon, Hallie Michelle Pearson of Meridian, Tobey Mann Turner of Memphis, and Lauren Ashley Black and Tamra Lynn Harrison, both of Hattiesburg.

    The father of the bridegroom served as best man.

    Groomsmen were Theodore James McKercher of Vicksburg, Andrew Blake Sorey of Hattiesburg, William Rudy Ledbetter of Fort Smith, Ark., brother of the bridegroom, Dylan Bradley Pair of Hattiesburg, Lee Carpenter Williams of Madison, Paul Brennen Hancock of Jackson, Jordan Daniel Wood of Jackson, brother-in-law of the bride, and Harold Houston Steelman of Metairie, La.

    Lauren Elizabeth Hughes of Birmingham, Ala., served as proxy bride as well as guest book attendant.

    Claire Hurlburt of Memphis and Jessy Doyle of Olive Branch, cousins of the bridegroom, served as program attendants.

    The wedding was directed by Debbie Miles and Danielle McAlister.

    A reception was held at The Gathering Place following the ceremony. Music was provided by Hunter Smith and the Gators of Jackson.

    On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Union Station. A bridesmaid’s luncheon was hosted by Mack and Charlene Cermak and Gerri Lynne Croley on the day before the wedding.

    After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple resides in Memphis.
