    Graveside services for Barbara Jean Davis will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Bethany Baptist Church cemetery, with the Rev. Roy Dabbs officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral home in charge of arrangements. 

    Mrs. Davis, age 70, of Meridian died Friday July 16, 2010 at her residence. She was retired from Anderson Regional Medical Center, where she worked as a cashier.

    Survivors include a daughter, Gail Griffin and her husband, Shannon, of Meridian; her sons Bill Davis and his wife, Christa, of Burlington, N.C., and Tommy Davis and his wife, Barbara, of Meridian; her grandchildren, Trent Posey and his wife, Laura, of Meridian, Taylor Griffin of Meridian, Will Davis and his wife, Britanee, of Fort Walton, Fla., Ryan Davis of Atlanta, Ga., Lilyana Davis of Burlington, N.C., Brandon Davis and Kevin Davis, both of Meridian, two great-grandchildren, Caroline and Ava Davis

of Fort Walton, Fla.; a cousin, Becky Coborn, and her husband, Scott, and a special friend, Brenda Clay Russell.   

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Davis, and her son, James Davis.  

    Pallbearers include her grandsons Trent Posey, Brandon Davis and Kevin Davis, and her friends Scott Coborn, Herman Russell and Lamar Branning.
