Hannah Marie Gressett of Chunky and Jordan Seth Wren of Corinth were united in marriage in a beach ceremony on Saturday, May 8, 2010, at Fort Walton Beach, Fla. The Rev. Robert Rowzee, uncle of the bride, conducted the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Billy W. Gressett Jr. of Chunky and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Wren of Glen and Miss Cindy Wren of Corinth.
Grandparents of the bride are Mrs. Johnnie Jean and the late Jerry Luke of Chunky and Mr. Billie and the late Jane Gressett of Newton.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Donald Garrett and the late Ruth Garrett of Bessemer, Ala. and Mrs. Johnnie and the late Odel Wren of Corinth.
Music for the ceremony and reception was provided by Magic Memories of Panama City, Fla. with Mrs. Vonda Rowzee, aunt of the bride, serving as vocalist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white sweetheart halter chiffon dress, with an A-line pleated bust and a beaded crochet lace empire waistline.
Matron of honor was Melissa Lowlavar, sister of the bride. Other attendants were Casey Rowzee, cousin of the bride, Jade Wren, sister of the bridegroom, Catlin Harper of Decatur and Kirbi Hurst of Hickory.
Best men were Josh Wren, brother of the bridegroom, and Greg Wallace of Hernando.
Groomsmen were Trey Ward of Booneville, and Brad Young and Aaron Prentiss, both of Corinth.
Flower girls were Maggie Luke, cousin of the bride, and Laney Wallace. Also serving as flower girl was the bride’s Yorkshire Terrier, Bella, escorted by Caden Kyle, nephew of the bridegroom.
Ring bearer was Dylan Lowlavar, nephew of the bride.
Josie Hurst attended the guest registry and programs.
Wedding directors were Mrs. Lynn Hurst and Mrs. Carol Estes.
A reception was held at the Paradise Cove Dining Room following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas, the couple will reside in Southaven were both will begin their teaching careers in the fall.
