    Services for Elmer Crawley Akins Jr. will be held today at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Ray Luke and Dr. Mike Carr officiating. Burial will be in Henry’s Chapel Cemetery.

    Mr. Akins, 83, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian.
