Dollar Tree announces store opening

    Dollar Tree, Inc., the nation’s leading operator of discount variety stores selling everything for $1 or less, announced a new store opening in Meridian. The 6,786 square foot store is located at 2526 67th Ave. Loop.

Internal Medicine Clinic moves to new location

    Internal Medicine Clinic, a premier physicians group, is moving Monday to a new location in the recently completed Medical Towers III near Anderson Regional Medical Center.

    “This new facility is state-of-the-art and offers our patients better access and improved parking,” said James A. Allen, IMC administrator.

    Internal Medicine Clinic PLLC was founded in 1972 by Joel T. Callahan, MD; A. Gary Boone, MD; and Thomas H. Greer Jr., MD. Today, IMC is a comprehensive, multi-specialty clinic offering a wide array of health care services.

    “All of our physicians will continue to see patients at Anderson Regional Medical Center and Riley Hospital,” Allen said. “Our pulmonary and nephrology physicians also see patients at Rush Hospital.”

    IMC currently has 14 board-certified physicians in its group practicing cardiology, family practice, gastroenterology, nephrology, neurology and pulmonary medicine, as well as nurse practitioners and more than 60 staff members. IMC is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and welcomes new patients.
