AUSTIN, Texas – A memorial service for Margaret Loeb will be held in

Austin at Esquina Tango on 3rd and Pedernales on Thursday June 24th, from 7:30 p.m.-10 p.m.

Margaret Loeb, wife of Vance Rightmire, died at her home in

Austin, Texas on Friday, June 18, 2010. She was a registered pediatric occupational therapist for over 30 years and took great pride and pleasure in helping infants and children with handicaps overcome their disabilities. Margaret grew up in Meridian, Miss. and graduated from Meridian High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree from Prescott College, Arizona and received her master’s from TWU in Denton, Texas. She enjoyed equestrian dressage riding and for decades took lessons to improve herself in it. She was also a devoted animal lover and surrounded herself with dogs, cats, parrots, and horses. Margaret and her husband were professional/amateur Argentine Tango dancers, traveling all over the United States and Argentina to better understand and perform the dance. Together they devoted hours to promoting the dance in Austin. Like everything she loved, Margaret devoted her full energies to it. She will be sorely missed by her many friends and family.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Vance F. Rightmire; her parents, Jean and Alex Loeb; sister, Barbara Sevier; and two nephews, Donald Sevier and his wife Leah and Robert Sevier.
