Elizabeth Entrekin of Meridian and Rob McKenzie of Butler, Ala. were married Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 6 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Bob Rambo officiating.

    Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Paul Entrekin of Meridian and Mrs. Suzan McKenzie of Butler, Ala.

    Grandparents of the bride are Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Shults and Mr. William H. Entrekin Sr., both of Meridian.

    Music for the ceremony was provided by Mrs. Joyce Tillery, organist and pianist, Mrs. Susie Johnson, flutist, Benjamin Johnson, cellist, Mr. Rick Gaddis, trumpeter and Mrs. LeAnn Naylor, soloist.

    The bride was given in marriage by her father, Paul W. Entrekin.

    She wore an ivory silk taffeta and Alencon lace gown. The gown’s bodice had tiny straps which held the Alencon lace bust. Rouched silk taffeta encircled the waistline. The full ball gown skirt swept to a chapel length train. Completing her ensemble was a fingertip length veil of ivory illusion trimmed in French Alencon lace.

    Maid of honor was Emily Entrekin of Columbus. Matrons of honor were Mrs. Angela Maxwell of Brandon and Mrs. Bess Wilder of Meridian.

    Other attendants were Jenni Barr of Meridian, April Davidson of Meridian, Amanda Eaton of Madison, Marijane Hudson of Birmingham, Ala., Kyleen Kilcline of Shreveport, La., Emily Lewis of Madison, Jennifer Schneider of Tampa, Fla., Anna Street of Birmingham, Ala. and Amy Grace Warren of Madison.

    Honorary bridesmaids were Suzan Ellett of Huntsville, Ala., Allison Entrekin of Meridian and Nan Russell of Butler, Ala.

    Flower girls were Mary McKenzie Ellett and Suzan Tabory Ellett, both of Huntsville, Ala., Caitlyn Elizabeth Entrekin of Meridian, Hayden Rose Maxwell of Brandon and Elizabeth Harris Russell of Butler, Ala.

    Best men were Boots Ellett II of Huntsville, Ala. and Jon Russell of Butler, Ala.

    A reception was held at Northwood Country Club following the ceremony.

    After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple resides in Meridian.
