Miss Scarbrough, Mr. Carmichael

    William and Stacie Scarbrough of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Brandi Rashel, to Adam Monroe Carmichael, son of Terry and Kim Carmichael of Meridian.

    The wedding will be held Friday, June 4, 2010, at 7 p.m. at Cokers Chapel United Methodist Church in Meridian.

    Miss Scarbrough is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Luke Scarbrough of Meridian and Mrs. Lotelle Chisolm and the late Tracy “Nick” Sullivan Sr. of Meridian.

    The bride-elect is currently pursuing a bachelor of nursing degree at Meridian Community College. She is a 2009 graduate of Meridian Community College, where she received an associate of arts degree. She is a 2007 graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School.

    While attending MCC, she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa.

    Miss Scarbrough is employed by Don Waldron’s Mr. Discount Drugs.

    Mr. Carmichael is the grandson of Mrs. Peggy Stewart and the late Mr. James Stewart of Meridian and the late Mr. and Mrs. David Carmichael of Toomsuba.

    The bridegroom-elect is a 2004 graduate of Mississippi State University, where he received a bachelor of business administration degree. He received an associate of arts degree from East Mississippi Community College in 2001 and is a 1999 graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School.

    Mr. Carmichael is employed by Nelson Hall Chevrolet.

    A reception will be held at the church following the ceremony.

    Family and friends are invited to attend.
