Miss Higginbotham, Mr. Boykin

    Mr. and Mrs. Billy Higginbotham of Carthage announce the engagement of their daughter, Cindy Dianne, to Richard Blake Boykin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Boykin of Laurel and Mr. and Mrs. John Reeves of Meridian.

    The wedding will be held Saturday, June 5, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Oakland Baptist Church in Vicksburg.

    Miss Higginbotham is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Beard of Vicksburg, Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Gunter and the late A.G. Higginbotham, all of Louisville.

    The bride-elect is a graduate of Jones County Junior College, where she received a degree in fashion marketing. She is a graduate of West Jones High School.

    Miss Higginbotham is employed by Central Sunbelt Federal Credit Union.

    Mr. Boykin is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Donny Boykin and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Culpepper, all of Meridian, and Dr. and Mrs. Edwin Kophler of Slidell, La.

    The bridegroom-elect will graduate from Jones County Junior College this month with a degree in Electronics Technology.

    Mr. Boykin is employed by Howard Industries.

    A reception will be held at Vicksburg Country Club.
