Mark and Amber Lomen of Starkville announce the engagement of their daughter, Kaley Maris, to James Andrew Stribling, son of Chris Stribling and the late Dawn Stribling of Meridian.
The wedding will be held Saturday, May 29, 2010, at 3:30 p.m. at Meadowview Baptist Church in Starkville.
Miss Lomen is the granddaughter of Wayne and Judy Tubb of Starkville, Ms. Doris Lomen of Starkville and the late Ms. Marietta Morrison of Birmingham, Ala.
The bride-elect currently attends the University of North Alabama. She is a graduate of Hebron Christian School in Pheba.
While attending HCS, she was a member of the Mississippi Model Security Council, varsity softball and varsity cheerleading.
Mr. Stribling is the grandson of Jean Stribling and the late Crisler Stribling of Carthage and Gene and Nelda Gay Tucker of Big Sandy, Texas.
The bridegroom-elect received a degree in mechanical engineering from Mississippi State University and attended Meridian Community College. He is a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School.
While attending MSU, he was a member of the American Foundry Society. At MCC, he was a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society.
Mr. Stribling is employed by Listerhill Total Maintenance Center.
A reception will be held at Cowbells Sports Grill.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
