    Hi.  My name is Harleigh Smith I’m 10 years old. When I was 5 years my daddy let me shoot his gun and it really kicked me bad. I’ve been scared to shoot a shot gun since then.

I went to a shooting class held by a Mr. Satterwhite. He is a world champion shot gun shooter.

    I learned a lot from him and I shot his 28 gauge shot gun and I hit 4 out of 5 clay birds. I could have hit the first one if I had not closed my eyes. Was I ever surprised when it didn’t kick me? Paw Paw Mike talked me into shooting it and am I glad.

    Now I dream of having that gun and entering the 4H. Shot Gun competition. Just in case you haven’t figured it out I like to write to Mr. Otha.

    I really do like that shot gun and really do want it. Daddy I’ve got a birthday in May.  Daddy don’t forget it’s a Remington 1100 28 gage!! Thanks for printing my letters.
