Both the Meridian City Council and the Lauderdale County Board of Supervisors will have items related to the possible closure of a portion of Valley Rd. on their agendas for tomorrow. The city will consider a resolution of intent to close the portion of the road inside the city limits. According to District 5 Supervisor Ray Boswell, the county will hear from an EMBDC representative who is expected to ask the county to close the portion of the road outside of the city limits.
