Faye Hatcher, wife of Lockhart Church of God missionary William Hatcher, said she just got off the phone with her husband who told her he’d likely be catching an early plane out of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and should be in Meridian by about 2 p.m. Saturday. Faye Hatcher said the flight is not confirmed yet but said her husband felt it was a pretty good chance he’d be able to catch the flight.

“He will fly to Miami and then to Atlanta and then here,” Faye Hatcher said. “We’re so excited but like I said those plans could change. But we are hoping they are confirmed in a little while.”

The other three men with Hatcher, who were all caught in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, when the country was rocked by a 7.0 earthquake Tuesday afternoon, should be on flights to their respective homes Saturday morning.
