Kara Whitney Hull of Meridian and Jonathan Eric Owen of Enterprise were married Saturday, August 8, 2009, at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Revs. Hollis Howell and Roy Dabbs officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Leslie C. Hull of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph T. Owen of Enterprise.

Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. James Burton of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. Olen Hull of Chunky.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are Reverend and Mrs. Hollis Howell of Lucedale and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Owen of Enterprise.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Mrs. Brenda Hooks, pianist and organist, and Mrs. Ledawn James Miss Kristen Hull and Mr. Jeff Lane, vocalists.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a romantic A-line gown which featured an intricately beaded strapless neckline and train.

The maid of honor was Miss Kaley Hull of Meridian. Also attending the bride was Junior Bridesmaid, Miss Kristen Hull of Meridian. Other attendants were Miss Madison Burton of Meridian, Miss Shannon Creel of Enterprise and Miss Renee’ Wall of Columbus.

Raegan Laird and Laighton Higginbotham, both of Meridian, were flower girls. Trey Shull of Meridian was the ring bearer.

The father of the bridegroom served as the best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Mr. Philip Speed and Mr. Wade Weathers, both of Enterprise, Mr. Matt Stickland of Meehan, Mr. Jesse Killough of Corinth and Mr. Justin Hall of Meridian.

Program attendants were Jordyn Hull and Baleigh Hull, both of Collinsville.

A reception was held in the Family Life Building immediately following the ceremony.

Mrs. Melanie Davis was the Wedding Director.

After a honeymoon in Tybee Island, Georgia the couple resides in Mobile, Ala.
