Services for Eugene D. Turner will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Savannah Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery, with Enterprise Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Turner, 72, of Meridian, died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at Queen City Nursing Home.

Survivors include seven sons, Clicero Turner, Tommie Turner, Pedro Turner, Tito Turner, Marion Turner and Eugene Turner, all of Meridian; two daughters, Mattie Turner and Tamiko Shepperd, both of Meridian; two sisters; and 23 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Angelo Turner.

Visitation will be Sunday, from 6 p.m.-7 p.m., at the funeral home.
