Peavey Electronics showed their support to CAREousel, a breast cancer support group by designing a pink ribbon guitar for the organization during Breast Cancer Awareness happening all month long.

CAREousel says they plan to auction off the guitar with all the proceeds going to raise awareness about breast cancer.

“Breast cancer affects millions of families, and we’re honored to join the CAREousel Breast Cancer Support Group in serving those affected in our community,” said Mary Peavey, President of Peavey.

Designing the guitar was no small gesture for a company who’s custom guitars have won industry awards like the Guitar World Platinum Award for Quality and Design.

“Our artists have created a truly stunning showpiece and an inspiring musical instrument that will benefit CAREousel’s good works,” Peavey said.

The guitar showcases an original design by artists at Peavey. The instrument sports a pink ribbon and filigree treatment, and the slogan “Fight For The Cure” displayed on the fretboard. It also features Peavey’s patented Dual Compression tailpiece and two custom-wound pickups.
