UNION – Graveside services for Pinkie Miles Savell will be held today at 2 p.m. at Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Chris Kiepe officiating.

Mrs. Savell, 91, of Union, died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at Bedford Care, Marion. She worked as a nurse at Riley’s Hospital and Laird’s Hospital. She was loving mother and will be missed by her family.

Survivors include two daughters, Wanda Bernard of Little Rock, and Nancy McElroy of Cuba, Ala.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. “Jake” Savell; one son, Myles Savell; and one son-in-law, Carl Bernard.
