62nd anniversary

Arcolar Simmons and Eligah Naylor celebrate 62 years of marital bliss on Sunday, June 28, 2009. The couple have one daughter and two adopted

daughters, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Naylor is a retired cook for the Meridian Public Schools District. Mr. Naylor is a

veteran of World War II and is also retired from Krohler Manufacturing Company. The Naylors both were born in Kemper County and later relocated to Meridian. Mrs. Naylor celebrated her 100th birthday in February.
