Man charged with holding up two cabs

A Meridian man has been charged with two counts of armed robbery stemming from two incidents in which he is accused of robbing cab drivers in Meridian.

Officials with the Meridian Police Department said this morning Robert L. Davis, 35, of 3826 5th Street was arrested early Wednesday morning. He is currently being held in the Lauderdale County Detention Center in Meridian.
