Harrison County CWC Escapee Apprehended

Harrison County Community Work Center (CWC) inmate Bobby Marsh, who escaped Wednesday afternoon from his work detail with Harrison County Beat 2 work crew has been apprehended in Meridian.
Authorities had been searching for Marsh, who is serving a seven-year sentence for a Lauderdale County conviction for grand larceny.
Investigators and community corrections field officers with the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) F.A.S.T. (Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team) and officers with Meridian Police Department captured Marsh at approximately 8:00 p.m. in Meridian.
Marsh, who now faces an additional five year sentence if convicted of escape, is being held in the Lauderdale County Jail awaiting transport to the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility in Pearl.
