Newton County High School Beta Club recently conducted two December service projects. First, Beta members filled wrapped, and shipped shoeboxes filled with Christmas presents and goodies for Operation Christmas Child, an overseas

ministry for children of underdeveloped nations sponsored by Franklin Graham and Samaritan’s Purse. Then, members adopted a local child from Wesley House Community Center and bought, wrapped and delivered gifts to fill a needy child’s Christmas “wish” list.
