• 7 a.m. – Noon — Boys and Girls Club of East Mississippi, 1717 45th Avenue will hold a rummage sale that will include clothes, household items, bedding, Christmas decor and more. Call Ricky Hood at (601) 482-2544.

• 7 a.m.- 2 p.m. — Make-A-Wish will hold a garage sale at 10165 Lynwood Drive in Tanglewood subdivision off Highway 19 North. All proceeds go to granting wishes in the area. Call Brenda at (601) 483-8144.

• 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. — “Mission Possible Bazaar” will be held Antioch Southern Methodist Church, 11441 Center Hill Martin Road in Collinsville in the Martin Community. All proceeds go to foreign missions. Call (601) 737-5333.

• 10 am. – 11:30 a.m. — Art Blizzard! craft workshop will be held at the Meridian Museum of Art, 628 25th Avenue. The workshop is for children ages four to 12 and cost is $3 per child. Call (601) 693-1501.

• 10 a.m. — Hewitt Clarke will hold a book signing and discussion of his newest book entitled, “Mississippi Blood” at the Meridian Public Library in downtown Meridian.

• 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. — “Temari” a Japanese Fabric Ball class will be taught by Theresa Twente at the Meridian Activity Center, 3300 32nd Avenue. Call (601) 485-1812.

• 10:30 a.m. — Clarke County will be celebrating their 175th birthday with the annual Christmas Parade in downtown Quitman. Call (601) 776-3349.

• 2 p.m. — The American Legion T.C. Carter Post No. 21 will meet at 6000 North Frontage Road next to the Queen City Truckstop.Call (601) 681-8060.

• 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. — Winter Fest with crafts, baked goods and a rummage sale will be held at College Park United Methodist Church on Highway 19 North across from Mississippi State University-Meridian Campus. Call (601) 681-9273.
