JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — Hyundai Motor Finance has seized 139 vehicles from a Jackson dealership.

The company asked a federal judge Tuesday to grant it full ownership of the vehicles seized from Metro Hyundai.

No representative from the dealership appeared in court to contest the financing company taking control of the vehicles.

The financing company said in its federal case the dealership defaulted on loan agreements, sold collateral out of trust and double financed some vehicles.

The finance company, which advanced money to the dealership for vehicles, seeks full ownership of the 139 vehicles, plus $12,690 for money it said is owed on two vehicles sold by the dealership.
