LAKE WORTH, Fla. — Services for George William Sims will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Dorsey E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Sims, 87, of West Palm Beach, Fla., died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, in West Palm Beach. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

Survivors include his son, Thomas Sims; a daughter, Ellen Porco; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers.

He was preceded in death by his wife; a daughter and a grandson.

Visitation will be Saturday from noon until service time at the funeral home.
