Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dahlke of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Anne, to George Channells, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Channells of Bellevue, Mich.

The wedding will be held Saturday, June 20, 2009, at Orange Beach, Ala.

Miss Dahlke is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Berry Wood of Montgomery, Ala., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Duett of Meridian.

The bride-elect received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is a graduate of Meridian High School.

Miss Dahlke is employed by Georgia-Pacific in Battle Creek, Mich.

Mr. Channells is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. George Channells of Martin, Mich., and Milburn Davis of Bellevue, Mich. and the late Patricia Davis.

The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of St. Philip Catholic Central.

Mr. Channells is employed by Rollie Williams Paint and Chemical of Kalamazoo, Mich.
