Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 1:30 p.m. Thursday and 4 p.m. Friday:
• Trespassing — Lavert Smith, 20, 910 Highway 19 North, Room 205
• Driving Under the Influence (DUI) first offense — Herenzo J. Chambers, 20, 252 Hall Road
• Contempt of court — Willie East Gill, 54, 506 Front Street Extension E-6
Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 1:30 p.m. Thursday and 4 p.m. Friday:
• Felony Motor vehicle theft two counts — Scott Barry Ellis, 44, 2033 County Road No. 440, Quitman. Ellis is also charged with contempt of court, shoplifting less than $250; grand larceny more than $500.
• Possession of marijuana less than one ounce — Ashley Shandell Rogers, 20, 7950 Highway 19 North, Collinsville. Rogers is also charged with disorderly conduct, failure to obey law enforcement officer.
• Probation violation — Angela K. Vanderburg, 26, Rt. 1 Box 249, Daleville
• Sale of cocaine two counts — Tyshon Monquelle Johnson, 26, 2456 36th Place. Johnson is also charged with resisting arrest and failure to appear in justice court.
