New York — John O’Neil Johnson Toyota located in Meridian, Miss., was named recipient of the 2007 Toyota Motor Sales President’s Award. The 22nd annual award was presented to a select group of dealerships across the country. It is the 7th year they have received the President’s award. The John O’Neil Johnson Toyota ad will be featured in subscriber copies of the August 18th issue of TIME Magazine, available Friday, August 8th.

Toyota Motor Sales recognizes its finest dealerships with the prestigious President’s Award. This is an honor given to those dealerships that have demonstrated a commitment to maintaining Toyota’s high standards for customer satisfaction. In order to qualify as a President’s Award winner, dealerships must excel in delivering great products and providing stellar customer care in all areas of dealership operations.

John O’Neil Johnson Toyota has also been recognized for ongoing community support with Meridian Community College. In 1996, the dealership began donating money to a special tuition-assistance program at the school. The program offers four semesters of paid tuition to students from area high schools who keep up their college grades. The Tuition Guarantee Program was begun by a group of business leaders 12 years ago. Since then more than $3 million has been raised for hundreds of qualifying students.
