Courtney Rose Fitzgerald and Aaron Bryan Pogue both of Collinsville were married on Friday, May 30, 2008, at Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church with the Revs. Tommy Espey and Kenny Pogue, father of the bridegroom officiating.

Parents of the couple are Frankie and Laura Fitzgerald of Collinsville and Kenny and Jamie Pogue of Collinsville.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are Leonard and Sylvia Pogue of Meridian and Landis and Billie Culpepper of Collinsville.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Ann Barnett, pianist; Bliss Savell and Alan Rigdon, vocalists.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.

She wore a strapless gown that featured beading and embroidery. The drop waist was highlighted by a sash gathered with a broach. The dress flowed into a train that featured the same beading and embroidery. She wore a full length veil of silk illusion. She wore a matching pearl necklace and earrings.

Maids of honor were Sara Fitzgerald, sister of the bride and Anna Dallas of Collinsville. Other attendants were Cole Wilson and Bliss Savell, both of Collinsville, Galina Burwell of Meridian, Allison Rose, of Laurel and Jennifer Pitts of Seminary.

Lyssa and Isabelle Halley of Meridian were flower girls.

David Pogue and Jeremy Pogue, brothers of the bridegroom were best men. Groomsmen and ushers were Michael Pogue of Bailey, Lawrence Bonner of Meridian, Stephen Nicholson of Little Rock, Danny Hall, Brandon Rodgers, Nathan Herrington and Kyle Vick, all of Collinsville, Aubrey Pogue of Bailey and Tyler Pogue and Nick Pogue, both of Mount Olive, Ala.

Kaden Neal of Collinsville was ring bearer.

Program attendants were Cooper Reid and Abbi Penninger. Registry attendant was Audri Clements.

A reception was held at The Gathering Place immediately following the ceremony.

Assisting at the reception were Meagan Pogue, Jessica Pogue, Emily Pogue, Bethany Benson and Laura Benson.

After a honeymoon to Freeport, Bahamas, the couple resides in Collinsville.
