PHILADELPHIA — Services for Edd Permenter will be held today at 11 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Neshoba County with the Revs. Mack Alford, Edd Shoemaker, and Bobby Joe Butler officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Permenter, 71, died Thursday, May 29, 2008 at his home in Philadelphia. He was a veteran of the U.S. Military and served in the Korean War.
