Services for Alvin Adams will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Okatibbee Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Nehemiah Matthews officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Enterprise Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Adams, 52, of Meridian, died Saturday, May 3, 2008, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife, Easter Adams; daughters, Erika Adams, Jennifer Adams, Deidra Adams and Amy Adams Hersey, all of Meridian; two brothers; eight sisters and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6 p.m.- 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
