Rush Health Systems names new director of regional operations

Rush Health Systems is pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher M. Rush as Director of Regional Operations for Rush Health Systems. In this capacity, Chris will be responsible for Laird Hospital, Watkins Hospital, Scott Regional Hospital and Alexander Nursing Center.

For the past two years, Chris has been with ECG Management Consultants, Inc. in their West Coast Healthcare Practice. While at ECG, Chris’ consulting assignments included academic medical centers, children’s hospitals, physician groups and community health systems throughout the country. Prior to his association with ECG, Chris worked with Rush Health Systems in a number of administrative and operational capacities.

Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree from Wofford College and an MBA and a Masters in International Affairs from the American University. Chris and his wife, Mary, are expecting their first child in May and have relocated to the Meridian area.

Rush Health Systems is headquartered in Meridian, Mississippi with healthcare facilities in East Mississippi and West Alabama. The organization includes Rush Foundation Hospital, Specialty Hospital of Meridian, Medical Foundation, Inc., Magna Home Health, Rush Medical Group, Laird Hospital and J.G. Alexander Nursing Center in Union, H.C. Watkins Hospital in Quitman, and Scott Regional Hospital in Morton.
