Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Hinton Hall Jr. of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Catherine Elizabeth, to Benjamin Thomas Laurenzi, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard John Laurenzi of Middletown, N.Y.

The wedding will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2008, at the home of the bride’s parents with the Rev. Jack Loflin officiating.

Miss Hall is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Hinton Hall of Bay Springs and Mr. and Mrs. Archie Reeder McDonnell of Meridian.

The bride-elect and received both a master’s and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Millsaps College. She is a graduate of Lamar High School.

Miss Hall is employed as a senior media manager of Condé Nast Publications in New York, N.Y.

Mr. Laurenzi is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Arthur Laurenzi of Philadelphia, Pa., and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Valentine Norris of New York.

The bridegroom-elect received a master’s degree in business administration from Binghampton University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the State University of New York College at Oneonta. He is a graduate of Guilderland High School.

Mr. Laurenzi is employed as a manager in the Private Client Services Group at Marsh in New York.

A reception will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Hinton Hall Jr. following the ceremony.
