The Rev. and Mrs. Frankie Boyette of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Elizabeth, to Ron Edwin Waggoner, son of Dr. and Mrs. John Milam of Vossburg and Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Waggoner of Atlanta.

The wedding will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2008, at 5 p.m. at Mt. View Baptist Church in Meridian.

Ms. Boyette is the granddaughter of Luella Boyette of Meridian and the late T.J. Boyette and the late Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Boyette of Meridian.

The bride-elect received a degree in cosmetology from Meridian Community College. She is a graduate of Clarkdale High School.

Ms. Boyette is employed by The Cut Above.

Mr. Waggoner is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Lee Herron of Meridian and Zelma Creel of Pearl and the late Marshall Waggoner.

The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Clarkdale High School.

Mr. Waggoner is employed by Robinson Electric.

A reception will be at the church following the ceremony.
