Private graveside services for Aline Jones Payne were held Saturday at Gulde Cemetery in Rankin County. Burial was in the Gulde Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Payne, 84, of Newton, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2007 at Newton Regional Hospital.

Survivors include her two daughters; Joyce Luke of Hickory; Donna Lunsford of Arkansas; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchidren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Howard T. Payne, Jr.
