LAVONIA, Ga. — Funeral services for Robert M. Lofton were held Monday at Fairview Baptist Church.

Mr. Lofton, died on Nov.15, 2007, in Atlanta. He was born to the now late Willie and Virgie Lee Lofton on October 27, 1940 in Meridian, Miss.

He was married to Ida Lois Johnson for over 31 years until her passing in 1999. To this union, two daughters were born, Crystal and Chanda.

Survivors include his daughters, his estranged wife, Florece; granddaughter, Aliyah; sisters, Lela Mae Finley, Juanita Lofton, and Sylvia Hopkins; brothers, Luther, V. Laran, and Willie Lofton, Jr.
