BUTLER, Ala. — Services for John Patton Utsey Jr. will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Butler. Burial will be in Gilbertown City Cemetery. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Utsey, 70, of Butler, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, at University Alabama Birmingham Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife, Lavern G. Utsey; daughters, Pattie Christopher, Pam Moody and Jennifer Miller; two brothers and eight grandchildren.
