Graveside services for Marcus Franklin “Mark” Davis will be held today at 10 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Hugh C. Davis Jr. officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Davis, 57, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007, in Meridian. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include his daughters, Tonya Michelle Simmons and her husband, Daniel, of Purvis, Tricia Ann Null of Meridian; a son, Jason Dewayne Davis and his wife, Tabitha, of Meridian; brothers, Hugh C. Davis Jr., of Meridian, Edward L. Davis of Portland, Ore. and Raymond E. Davis of Meridian; grandchildren, Lauren Marie Davis, Lathan Matthew Davis, Marcus Hayden Null, Ethan Cade Null and Aspyn Carley Griffith, all of Meridian, Matthew Daniel Simmons and Kimber Michelle Simmons of Purvis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh C. Davis Sr. and Viva Edna Davis and a sister, Mary Ann Davis.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Koenigs, Mark Hill, Alan Null and Jonathan Baysinger.
Visitation will be today from 9 a.m.- 9:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
Opal Reese Graham

QUITMAN — Services for Opal Reese Graham will be held today at 11 a.m. at Wright’s Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dewayne Crane officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
Mrs. Graham, 83, of Meridian, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.
Survivors include her husband, Woodrow Graham; a sister, Ruth Tomson and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings.
Visitation will be today from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Jerry Killen
PHILADELPHIA — Services for Jerry Killen will be held today at 1:30 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church in the House Community of Neshoba County with the Revs. Bill Boykin, Gilbert Allan and David Hardy officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Killen, 68, died Thursday, November 8, 2007 at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian. He was born and raised in the House Community of Neshoba County where he had made his home most of his life. Mr. Killen was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. He was a member of the Gleaners Quartet and the Watchman Quartet.
Survivors include his daughters, Donna Killen of Union, Diane Duett and her husband, Chet, of Little Rock; grandchildren, Macie Duett and Taa Killen, Lee Duett, Gillis Duett and T.J. Killen; sisters, Clara Hardy of Philadelphia and Dot Dearing of Union; brothers, Edgar Ray Killen and his wife, Jo, Kenneth Killen and his wife, Estelle, Bobby Killen, all of Union and J.D. Killen and his wife, Helen, of Collinsville; sister-in-law, Lessie Killen of Union and his former wife, Tommie Nell Clevelend of Union.
Pallbearers will be Chet Duett, Lee Duett, Jeff Killen, David Ray Hardy, Chris Mowdy, Gillis Duett, T. J. Killen, Jim Gonzales and Eunice Barnett.

Mrs. Nixon, 64, of Alexandria, Va., died Monday, Nov. 5, 2007, at Virginia Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Oliver Nixon Sr.; sons, Oliver Nixon Jr. and Jonathan Nixon; a daughter, Teronica Nixon; four brothers and two sisters; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be today from Noon-1 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Miller, 74, of Shubuta, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2007, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital in Quitman.
Survivors include her husband, Roger D. Miller of Quitman; sons, Thomas Glynn Harrison and his wife, Barbara, of the Zero community, Roger A. Miller and James D. Miller, both of Quitman; daughters, Martha Sue Ricketson of Houston, Texas, and Cassandra Hochard, of Lafayette, La.; sisters, Linda Taylor of Butler, Ala., Brenda Adair and Shelby Carmichael, both of Quitman, and Shirley Faye Benson of Collinsville; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Harrison; parents, Claude Alvin and Sadie Cooper Downey; siblings, Pauline Boone, Claudie Mae Turner, Wallace Downey, Wilton Downey Sr. and Willow Dean Williams.
Pallbearers will be Randy Taylor, Burt Carmichael, Jimmy Ray Downey, Eric Taylor, Robbie Tindle, and Jamie Downey.
Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the church.

GILBERTOWN, Ala. — Services for Danny Larry Whittington will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Silas First Baptist Church with the Revs. Don Whigham and Rick Hutchinson officiating. Burial will be in Edgar Cemetery. Phillips Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Whittington, 56, of Silas, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007, in his home.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Whittington; a son, Brian Whittington; daughters, Traci Craft and Nicole Long; one brother; three sisters and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
